If you're a diehard Detroit sports fan, Monday had you feeling like a real winner.
You hit the trifecta.
Opening day for the Tigers in Minnesota turned out as it should have, with the Tigers beating the Twins 4-2 on the road. That was expected. After all, Justin Verlander was on the mound and the Tiger lineup looks, well, very powerful.
And then there was the Red Wing game. They played at the Joe and beat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2.
Then even the lowly Pistons, who haven't won much, beat the Toronto Raptors 108-98 up in Toronto.
Enjoy.
Not everyday will look like this.
