Arthur Neal, 86,  of Detroit had some luck Dec. 19 when he won $20,000 from the lottery.

He went missing the day after, and  his luck ran out.

Taryn Asher of Fox 2 reports that he was found murdered Sunday, stabbed multiple times, in the basement of a vacant home on the city's west side.

Fox 2 reports that it is unknown if the winning ticket was cashed.
