Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb voters will decide the fate of a proposed millage to fund the Detroit Institute of Art next Tuesday. Yesterday, between 250-300 supporters of the millage proposal gathered for a rally in New Center Park across from the Fisher Building.
Mayor Dave Bing speaks in support of the proposal, which is also supported by County Executives Bob Ficano, Brooks Patterson, and Mark Hackel.
The Urban Stringz Youth Orchestra performs at the rally.
