Yes, that's right.
Rugby Grille at Birmingham's Townsend Hotel peddles a burger for $55.
The eight-ounce Foie Burger is created by Chef Damian Yopek and served at dinner, Jay Grossman writes in the Birmingham Eccentric. It has been on the menu three weeks and is popular, the paper says.
The burger, the paper reports, is composed of waygu beef, sweet onion jam, seared foie gras, arugula, braised short rib, parmesan aioli, burgundy truffles and Thomasville tomme cheese. It’s served with a side of burgundy truffle fries.
The paper reports that a food blogger named Grace D gave the burger a big thumbs up on Yelp, the paper reports.
“First time dining here and it was delicious,” she blogs about Rugby Grille. “Sat up at the bar and had a nice glass of wine with the new Foie Burger. This burger is outstanding!”
