Fox 2 reporter Charlie LeDuff told police he and his brother feared for their lives during a brawl at Corktown’s St. Patrick’s parade earlier this month, according to a police report.
Gina Damron reports in the Free Press LeDuff filed the report a few days after the March 10 parade, where a security guard accused the reporter of biting him during a fight. The 46-year-old reporter told police he was “choked and nearly blacked out” after being thrown out of a private party at the parade and denied the allegations against him “as reported in the media,” according to the police report, which he filed on March 14.
Dueling police reports have been filed in the case.
