It's like a life-or-death movie scene, captured on a patrol car's dashcam and reported by Bisi Onile-Eer of WDIV .

A despondent man climbed onto a Joy Road overpass high above northbound I-275 as a Canton policer officer tried to talk him down Sunday night. The WDIV reporter picks up the story:

 
 

When the officer was close enough, he lunged forward and grabbed the man by his coat, pulling him off the rail.

He was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Canton Public Safety says the officer's quick reaction saved the man's life.
