The good thing about the Detroit real estate market is that you can dream big with modest funds.

Paul Beshouri of Curbed Detroit reports that an entire West Village Apartment building on Detroit's east side is going for $600,000.

Curbed writes:

One of the neighborhood's most stately and centrally-located apartment buildings can still be bought for the price of a suburban McMansion.

Built in 1924 on the corner of Agnes and Van Dyke, the Van Dyke Apartments overlook many of the aforementioned businesses. The building contains 8 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom apartments; those in front come with fireplaces and great windows.
