A 36-year-old truck driver has been cited for careless driving in Sunday's tanker fire at I-375 and I-75 in downtown Detroit, The Detroit News reports. The incident has shut the I-75 northbound ramp until Friday.

Michigan State Police are doing a compliance review of the driver's employer, Leonard Fleming writes.  The trucker tells investigators a mechanical problem caused his back wheels to lock up and the tanker to overturn, according to the paper.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. Sunday. The tanker was carrying 9,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline. No one was hurt.
