Justin Bieber wasn't on his tour bus as it attempted to enter the United States at the Ambassador Bridge Sunday. That was fortunate for the Canadian bubble gum star because the U.S. Border Patrol found pot and drug paraphernalia on the bus Sunday.

CTV: Chief Customs and Border Protection officer Ken Hamond told CTV News a search of the tour bus revealed an unspecified amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

However Bieber was not on board.

The driver of the bus was issued a citation and was released.

Bieber, who seems intent on emulating both Vanilla Ice's style and career trajectory, played a sold-out show Sunday at Joe Louis Arena.

We look forward to the day Bieber loses his mind and trashes an MTV stage while contemplating the self-parody he's become.
