Winds during Sunday's storms cut power to 620,000 homes and businesses and many people can expect to go several more days before their utilities are restored.
WDIV: By Tuesday morning, DTE says about 134,000 southeastern Michigan customers remained without power out of about 302,000 affected. The utility says restoration is expected to take several days.
CMS says about 275,000 of its customers were affected and about 206,000 remained blacked out at 4 p.m. Monday.
Those currently living without power will likely notice colder than normal weather today, as temperatures are only expected to reach the low 40s.
