Last year's speech was at the Redford Theater.
Mayor Mike Duggan, who assumed office on Jan. 1, 2014, will deliver his third State of the City Address on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. on Detroit's east side.
The event will take place at the Second Ebenezer Church, 14601 Dequindre Road in Detroit.
Duggan gave last year's speech at the Redford Theater at Grand River and Lahser on the city's west side. His first State of the City Address was at city hall.
The mayor is likely to talk about these accomplishments: knocking down blighted homes, fixing street lights, improving bus service. He'll also probably discuss crime and schools.
