No long ago, there weren't many good brunch places in Detroit. That's changed.
Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit has compiled a list of 14 brunch places, 12 of which are in Detroit.
Here are nine of the city sites:
The Huron Room -- 2547 Bagley St. :10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Bobcat Bonnie's -- 1800 Michigan Ave.: Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Laika Dog at UFO Factory -- 2110 Trumbull Ave.: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Mudgie's Deli -- 1300 Porter St: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday
Parks & Rec -- 1942 Grand River Ave.: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily
Wright & Co. -- 1500 Woodward Ave.: 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday by reservation only
Central Kitchen + Bar -- 660 Woodward Ave.: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays
Trinosophes -- 1464 Gratiot Ave.: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday
Grey Ghost Detroit -- 47 E. Watson St: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday
