At this point, it doesn't even matter if  "The Interview" is any good. The controversy has made it a must-see for some folks.

The Emagine Canton theater will have free showings of the movie beginning Dec. 31, JC Reindl of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Tickets will be first come, first serve during the one-week run, the paper reported.

Meanwhile, a select group of theaters in Metro Detroit will begin showing the film on Chrstimas Day, including the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor.
