Ex-Allen Park Swim Coach Gets Probation for Sexting Teen Girl

An Allen Park High School swim coach was sentenced Tuesday to three years supervised probation for sending sexually explicit text messages to a 15-year-old female student and asking her to send him naked pictures through Snapchat, WXYZ reports.

Wayne County Circuit Judge David Groener handed down the sentence to Tyler Card, 26, of  Southgate, who will be required to register on the sexual offender registry. He apologized in court for his actions. 

As a condition of his probation, he is to have no contact with the victim or the Allen Park School District, WXYZ reports. He pleaded guilty in May to accosting a child for immoral purposes and using the internet to communicate with another to commit a crime.
