Titus Young, released by the Lions three months ago, has been a backseat passenger in Southern California patrol cars three times during the past week.
His latest arrest came late Friday in San Clemente on three felony charges, according to an AP disptach posted by CBS Detroit.
Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Joe Balicki says the 23-year-old Young was arrested late Friday in San Clemente for allegedly breaking into a home. Balicki says Young fought with deputies after a foot chase.
He has been charged with attempted burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
Ther former Lion remains in custody, unable to post $75,000 bail. A May 5 arrest in Riverside County was for a suspicion of driving under the influence, according to AP. Later that day, he allegedly tried to take his impounded Ford Mustang car from a police lot and was arrested on a burglary charge.
