Grands Rapids lawyer Brian Lennon told prosecutors Monday he plans to file a motion to dismiss, saying the charges should be in a Lansing Court, not Genesee County where Flint is located.

"The indictment is fatally flawed because it's charged Gov. Snyder with crimes allegedly that occurred in Genesee County, these crimes, which are false, but fatally flawed because they charged it in the wrong venue," Lennon said, addressing the issue during a pre-trial hearing Monday morning in 67th District Court. "At all times during the indictment, Gov. Snyder was at his office in the Romney building in downtown Lansing."
