Dr. Larry Nassar, the former Michigan State University doctorwho was fired in September, and served as USA Gymnastics’ team physician for the Olympic Games, is in more trouble.

An FBI agent testified in federal court in Grand Rapids on Wednesday that agents found at least 37,000 images and videos of child pornography on hard drives seized during a search of Nassar's Holt property outside of Lansing. They also found videos showing him sexually assaulting girls under 12, Matt Mencarini of the Lansing State Journal reports. The hard drives were found in a garbage can on his property during the execution of a search warrant.

Nassar, 53, faces two federal counts of child pornography. Federal Magistrate Judge Ray Kent ordered him detained.

Nassar was charged last month in Ingham County with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a girl younger than 13. He had been free on $1-million bond.
