A former Michigan State University doctor is in big trouble.

Dr. Larry Nassar, who spent decades working with local gymnasts and members of the U.S. women's national team is facing sexual assault charges involving at least one victim younger than 13, the Lansing State Journal reports.

The Michigan Attorney General's Office charged Nassar Monday with three charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under 13.

Court papers allege that the abuse took place at Nassar's home in Holt between 1998 and 2005, reports Matt Mencarini and Christopher Haxel of the Lansing State Journal. Nassar, who was fired from the university in September, is  scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

The Indianapolis Star reports that more than two dozen people have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse.
