Ex-Novi Elementary Principal Gets Probation for Drunk Driving

Lesson to the kids: Don't do as your former principal did.

Kim Warren, the Novi elementary school principal who grabbed headlines when she  was arrested for drunk driving in April, was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months probation, fined $780 and ordered to serve 50 hours of community service, according to WXYZ.

She must also attend substance abuse counseling and attend five AA meetings per week.

WXYZ reports that two people called 911 when they saw Warren swerving on Wixom Road before pulling into the Deerfield Elementary School parking lot. Police found her with an open bottle of vodka.
