Former Oakland University basketball player Sebastien Bellin was wounded in a terror attack Tuesday at he airport in Belgium's capital.

"My ex-layer Seb Bellin was injured in the Brussels bombing. Going for second surgery," head coach Greg Kampe tweets, WXYZ reports. "Please pray for Seb."

The Daily Mail reports:

Pictured laying in a pool of blood, his jeans torn and stained red, basketball player Sebastien Bellin is one of the dozens who were injured when two bombs rocked Brussels Airport this morning.
Brazilian-born Bellin, 37, was thrown 20 metres into the air by a blast and has since undergone surgery for his injuries.

Bellin studied international business at Oakland University from 1998-2001.  He went on to play professional basketball in the Europe. He last played for the Gent Hawks in Belgium from August 2013 to February 2014.

He's now vice president of sales and business development for a firm called Keemotion in the New York City area. The company provides video technology to help clients improve coaching and team performance in sports.

His LinkedIn page says:

In charge of sales and notably linking basketball experience to our state of the art technology. Planning and implementing Keemotion's current launch on the US market as well as managing our growing European presence.

The Detroit News reports that he often commutes from Belgium to western Michigan, where his wife and two young children live.
