Michael Skupin

Michael Skupin, the two-time contestant on CBS's "Survivor," is in for hard times.

Last week, a jury convicted him on four counts of child pornography.

Now, the Michigan Attorney General's Office has announced that  Skupin, 54, of Farmington Hills, has pleaded no contest in Oakland County Circuit Court to one count of larceny by conversion in a Ponzi scheme. He has agreed to pay $30,000 in restitution to his victims.

A "no contest" plea is similar to pleading guilty. The defendant concedes to the charges without disputing or admitting guilt.

Skupin, the father of seven, is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 27.
