We've all found a stray advertising flyer or a candy wrapper on our front lawn. But a six-foot iguana?

WXYZ reports that Farmington police on Friday were called after someone spotted the iguana on a front lawn in the Warner Farms subdivision. Farmington authorities captured the animal.

WXYZ reports that the animal's owner, Sara Tank, who lives on the block where the animal was found, noticed her iguana "Elliot" was missing when she returned from work and called police. The two will be reunited on Monday when animal control reopens.

Sara said the pet is 10 years old and loves to sit in the window to soak up the sunshine, and that he probably snuck out through an open door.
