An apartment building in the New Center area of Detroit is slated to be redeveloped by Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corp., Crain's Detroit Business reports.
The nonprofit will invest $10.2 million to redevelop the donated four-story, Casamira Apartments at 680 Delaware St., Chad Holcom writes. The apartments were built in 1925.
The new owner, an economic development and employment training organization, plans to lease 29 of its 44 apartments at market rates, with another 15 units as affordable housing, Crain's reports.
