Fat Salmon Sushi Fills Rock City Eatery's Old Hamtramck Space

Fat Salmon Sushi opened Thursday at 11411 Joseph Campau, in the spot formerly occupied by Rock City Eatery. 

An employee says the shushi restaurant is operating with a temporary menu that’ll be in place for a few weeks while another is finalized, Metro Times reports.

Along with the classics, Fat Salmon offers rolls like Yam Yam (deep fried roll with salmon, tuna, eel, avocado, and egg) and the Firecracker (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, crab salad, avocado, topped with crab and baked).

Rock City moved to Woodward in Midtown in September.
