If you were among the skeptics when it came to rapper Flavor Flav operating a successful restaurant in Sterling Heights, you weren't alone.
After all, one of his chicken joints flamed out in Iowa in 2011 and the other one shut its doors in Las Vegas in 2012.
Now, it appears his Sterling Heights restaurant, Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs, which opened late last year, may be going under.
TMZ reports that the rapper has been hit with an eviction notice for failing to pay rent.
The web channel says that he owes $25,000 for rent, late fees and damages, and hadn't paid the $3,500 in monthly rent since November.
We called Flav about the crisis . . . and he told us he had no idea the restaurant was in trouble. But the rapper insists, "I'm gonna figure out what's going on and get to the bottom of this ASAP!"
