One of three men charged criminally in the Flint water crisis reached a plea agreement Wednesday, which calls for him to continue cooperating with authorities who have vowed to charge more people in the scandal.

Elisha Anderson of the Detroit Free Press reports that Mike Glasgow, the city of Flint’s laboratory and water quality supervisor, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of willful neglect of duty in Flint’s 67th District Court. A felony charge, tampering with evidence, was dismissed.

Glasgow was accused of manipulating an official report by saying the homes Flint used to test tap water all had lead service lines when he doesn’t know if they did, the Freep reports.

The Freep reports that after the hearing, Glasgow's attorney Robert Harrison said his client wants to cooperate and that he court will keep the case under advisement and at some point “up to year from now the charges will be dismissed. All charges will be dismissed.”

Stephen Busch and Michael Prysby, both suspended employees with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, still face criminal charges in the case.
