You'd think that pinball machines were so '70s and '80s that you'd have to go to Smithsonian to find one.

Well, not true.

There's a new generation of devotees, Metro Times notes, and you can find plenty of the machines  at the Michigan Pinball Expo, which takes place at Oakland University today through Sunday.

The family-friendly event will feature more than 125 machines, many of them set on “free play” all day long. For more skilled players, tournaments offer the chance for competition and prizes.
