Michigan may get more rain and snow this next season, but expect temperatures to be about the same as usual: cold, reports Frank Witsil of the Detroit Free Presss:
The national forecast released Thursday by the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration predicts a 40% to 50% chance of more precipitation than normal across Michigan and the northern tier of the nation.
The outlook doesn't project snowfall, because that generally is not predictable more than a week in advance, and even during a warmer-than-average winter, cold and snow should be still expected.
