Former Tiger outfielder Chad Curtis is facing some serious prison time.
Cutis was sentenced Thursday to 7 to 15 years in prison in Barry County in western Michigan for inappropriately touching teenage girls, according to Sports Illustrated.
Last year, he was found guilty of the charges when he was a volunteer weight-room strength trainer at a high school in the Hastings, Mich. area.
The report on the Sports Illustrated website said that a 16-year-old girl accused him of touching and kissing her breasts. Two other teenage girls accused him of inappropriately touchiing their buttocks.
Curtis played in the majors from 1992 to 2001 and won two championship rings with the Yankees.
He played for Detroit for the Tigers in 1995-96 and was traded in the summer of 96 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In his first season with the TIgers he hit .268 with 21 homers and 67 RBIs.
