Free Press Readers Pick Bistro 82 As Metro Detroit's Best New Eatery

These days it seems there's a lot of new restaurants opening in places like Royal and midtown and downtown.

That being said, Detroit Free Press readers have voted Bistro 82 in Royal Oak as the Readers Choice Best New Restaurant of 2015. Readers were asked to declare their favorite that opened in metro Detroit between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 last year.

Sylvia Rector of the Free Press spoke to owner Aaron F. Belen, who said: "We were pleasantly surprised."

He also credited the staff for his success.

"Our associates provided the very,very consistent and excellent experience that people have responded to," he said. "It comes down to execution."
