The Detroit Free Press has disclosed its Top 10 in its List of Detroit's 100 Greatest songs and the Queen of Soul's hit in No. 1.

The list is a "culmination of voting by thousands of fans and 80-plus area music experts who together made more than 100,000 song selections on our original ballot," Brian McCollum of the Freep writes.
