Freezing Temperatures Match Record Set in 1800s; Snow Comes Today

We can only hope this winter isn't as cold as last year's.

Tuesday's local temperatures matched weather records set in the 1800s, Carol Hopkins of The Oakland Press reports..

The National Weather Service in White Lake said Detroit Metro Airport hit a low temperature Tuesday of 11 degrees, tying the Nov. 18 record low of 11 set in 1880.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service predicts two inches of snow Wednesday in Metro Detroit.
