A 61-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night by a garbage truck on 11 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in Berkley, WWJ reports.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m., WWJ reported.
WDIV reported that the woman may have been jogging.
Police closed off the area last night for a while as they investigated the matter.
