Gay Novi Woman Says Home Arson Might Be Hate Crime

A mobile home fire in Novi might be arson and a hate crime, says one of the women who lived there.

She says she and a female partner are in a relationship, and adds the fire took place while they were celebrating their honeymoon in Vegas.

"Our wedding gifts are still in there. My gown, I just got it from David's Bridal, it's still in there. My home office, the printer. Now I'm just like thinking about everything I lost," Baker told Fox 2.

Police posted  arson signs outside the home and told the homeowners an accelerant was used to fan the flames. Someone wrote anti-gay slurs inside the trailer.
