During the crazy pandemic, dining, shopping and activities have changed.

Starting next Friday, Bedrock launches a four-month "Decked Out Detroit" promotion for dining, shopping and activities at heated pergolas downtown. Diners can grab restaurant take-outs and sit in one of the structures open on all four sides. A news release doesn't say how many temporary huts will be erected.

Participants at Bedrock buildings are:

1. Mootz Pizzeria + Bar - 1230 Library St.
2. Buddy’s Pizza - 1565 Broadway St.
3. Cornerstone Barrel House - 1456 Woodward Ave.
4. San Morello - 1400 Woodward Ave.
5. Cannelle Detroit - 45 W Grand River Ave.
6. Hudson Cafe - 1241 Woodward Ave.
7. Avalon Cafe & Bakery - 1049 Woodward Ave.
8. BESA - 600 Woodward Ave.
9. Eatori Market - 1215 Griswold St.
10.Maru Sushi & Grill - 160 W Fort St.

Beginning Monday, Bedrock will offer free validated parking for eight hours with store or restaurant purchases at eight downtown locations, including the Z garage, One Campus Martius, the Financial District Garage and the Greektown Garage. 

A Saturday discount on Lyft rides to and from downtown is available through March from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Use the code BedrockDetroit on the Lyft app.
