Girlfriend Charged With Biting Off Chunk Of Boyfriend's Ear

A 31-year-old woman has been charged with assault with intent to main after her boyfriend told police she jumped on his back during a fight and bit off a chunk of his ear.

According to WXYZ-TV, Macomb County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic violence report at a home on Marseilles Street in Macomb Township on March 8.

The man was treated by medical personnel and the missing part of his ear was located. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The woman is expected to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in Shelby Township District Court. The crime she is charged with is a 10-year felony.
