Bye Bye Lions.
How could a season start out so promising and end up so pathetic?
Super Bowl? Playoffs? Winning season?
Not even close.
They ended up losing their eighth straight game Sunday to the Chicago Bears at Ford Field by a score of 26-24. So they finish the season with a 4-12 record.
The good news? They're done for the season. We are grateful for that.
Hard to figure out what's more frustrating: Watching Congress try to avoid the fiscal cliff or rooting for the Lion?
Either one can drive you to the brink of crazy.
All we can do is wait for the Tigers. Spring training isn't that far off. -- A.L.
