Rosedale Pharmacy is one of the businesses that will benefit from the money.
It's always good see the neighborhoods get an injection of money to upgrade at a time when downtown, Corktown and Midtown continue to see improvements.
Rachel Premack of Crain's Detroit Business reports that Hatch Detroit and the Detroit Lions Charities is contributing $150,000 to Grandmont Rosedale Development Corp. to fix a block of Grand River Avenue between West Outer Drive and Warwick Street in northwest Detroit to make the business corridor more walkable.
“Hatch Detroit on its own wants to promote walkability in business districts and provide residents places they can just walk to and enjoy,” Vittoria Katanski, executive director of Hatch Detroit, said, according to Crain's.
