Detroit detectives are reviewing video from security cameras outside the Greektown Casino Hotel as they investigate a street shooting early Sunday, Kim Russell reports for WXYZ.
A block of Monroe Avenue near St. Antoine was shut down for several hours after it happened around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Witnesses who were in pedestrian walkways above the area tell 7 Action News they heard several shots. They then saw people on the street run for cover, and at least one person was on the ground injured.
Police confirmed that one person was hit and survived, Russell added. No arrest has been reported.
