While on Fox 2's Let It Rip, Grosse Pointe Park Police spokesman Greg Bowens apologized to Michael Scipio, the victim of a racially-charged cell phone video allegedly made by Grosse Pointe Park policemen.

"Mr. Scipio, wherever you are we would like offer our sincere apology for what has occurred to you in our fair city," Bowens said. "My friends, my neighbors and residents, we're all appalled at what has occurred and we want you to know from the bottom of our heart that this is not a true representation of who we are in Grosse Pointe Park and we are working very very hard to get to the bottom of it, hold people accountable and work on the culture."

Bowens said he was unable to release details about Grosse Pointe Park's investigation into the videos, but said "We are about as far as we can go internally," and requested that any other videos be released to Grosse Pointe Park.
