HAZMAT Crews Rescue 500-Pound Warren Woman Covered in Filth and Bugs

Warren police responded to a HAZMAT situation where they needed to knock down a doorwall to free an obese woman from her own apartment.

Police tell 7 Action News were called out to an apartment complex located at 12 Mile and Gloede.

The woman was reportedly covered in waste and bugs, which made it a hazardous situation for responding emergency crews.

The woman was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
