Authorities say a crazed gunman believed to be responsible for the random shootings at 22 targets last week,  mostly at vehicles, shot and wounded his first victim on Saturday along the I-96 corridor in Livingston County, the Detroit News reports.

The News reported that two vehicles were shot at on on eastbound I-96 in Fowlerville. 

In the first instance, shortly before noon, an 18-year-old man was driving eastbound with a female passenger, and reported that his vehicle had been shot at, resulting the shattering of the rear windows.

Then about a half hour later, a bullet struck a Grand Rapids man in the buttocks as he drove his car.

Last week, from Tuesday to Thursday, authorities believe the same gunman shot at 22 targets, mostly vehicles. At that point, no one had been injured.  They shootings occurred in Oakland, Livingston and Ingham counties.

The News reported that suspect's vehicle is a black or dark-colored Oldsmobile Alero or Chevrolet Cavalier.
