Joe Dumars, who once had the golden touch, has made his fair share of blunders .

He drafted Darko Milicic back in 2003 instead of some other real stars. And he traded away Chauncey Billups to Denver in 2008 and signed Allen Iverson, who was  a dud.

Yahoo! Sports reports that  the Pistons have reached an agreement on a two-year contract with Billups for $5 million plus.

Billups, 36, hopes to finish up his career with the Pistons.

Yahoo! writes:

Billups will play the part of mentor for youngDetroit guard Brandon Knight, and be a rotation guard off the bench for Detroit.  -- Allan Lengel
