The heartbreak here can't measured.
A mother accidentally ran over and killed her 10-month-old daughter, Jada Taylor, on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. in a driveway at at home on Westmoreland near Evergreen and Seven Mile in northwest Detroit, reports Ron Savage of Fox 2. The mother and baby were visiting the home.
"The mother was moving the vehicle so that she could wash the car," Capt. Mark Thornton tells Fox 2. "And that's why she went to move the car forward to get closer to the water hose connection and to be away from the kids in the backyard. The child just happened to wander in front of the vehicle."
The mother never saw the baby, police tell Fox 2.
