A Highland Park cop was shot in the leg and wounded Monday night while conducting a raid, Fox 2 reports.
Fox 2 reports that the officer was listed in stable condition at Detroit Receiving Hospital and was expected to recover.
The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Candler near McNichols and Woodward Avenue just before 7 p.m. The officer was shot in the leg from a window before entering the house, Fox 2 reported.
WDIV identifed the officer as Ronald Dupuis, who is part of a car-theft task force.
