"RightThisMinute," the syndicated  TV news magazine that specializes in videos, has picked up on the adventures of the Highland Park Fire Department, the hardest-working small-town firefighters in America.

Last week, while the HPFD was fighting a blaze in a four-family flat on Pasadena, they got word that the children who lived in the house were missing. The firefighters quickly began searching for the kids, who turned out to be safe.

But while looking for the kids, they discovered three feline victims of the fire. Firefighters brought the kittens outside, where medics in an ambulance resuscitated two of them.

Said on of the TV show hosts: "Think of how hard it is to find cats in a place that's that smoky, and they could be anywhere, in any kind of crevice hiding, but they got three of them out..."

Her fellow hosts said: "Awwwwwwwwwww."
