Until now, residents outside of Flint have felt fortunate that they haven't been getting that tainted water.
But now that the city has identified more than 250 addresses just outside the city may have been using Flint water. WXYZ reports. Most of the homes are on Menominee Avenue and Cheyenne Avenue in Burton, a city just outside of Flint.
The city recommends that residents have water tested and use filters and bottled water.
