Horseshoes are often associated with luck.
Handyman Joseph Gentz has not been so lucky.
Gentz, who pleaded gulity to killing Bob Bashara's wife Jane, faces disciplinary proceedings after he was accused of threatening behavior and disobeying an order at the Macomb County Correctional Facility, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Gina Damron of the Free Press, citing a misconduct report, wrote that Gentz took some horseshoes from an equipment shed and said he was taking them back to his room.
When confronted by a correctional officer, he refused to put the horsehoes on the ground and “began talking in a very loud, agitated [sic]voice that he wanted his i.d.,” which he said kept being taken from him, the paper reported.
The officer wrote that he felt threatened by Gentz's behavior.
Gentz is serving 17-28 years in prison. Bob Bashara is awaiting trial in the murder of his wife.
