For some crazy reason, we're experiencing hot weather this July.
I know, right?
It's so hot that the folks at the National Weather Service have issued a "heat advisory" for metro Detroit. So, consider yourselves advised: It's hot outside today.
Detroit Free Press: The heat advisory begins at noon and lasts through midnight Wednesday. During that time, the National Weather Service recommends residents drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun and in air conditioning, and take frequent breaks if you’re working outside. Residents are also advised to check on relatives and neighbors, and pets and children should never be left alone in a vehicle during a heat advisory.
WDIV's website has a complete list of local cooling centers if you need a break and lack air conditioning.
