The crime is indicative of the brazenness of criminals in the city.

Four Detroit police cars were broken into late Monday night in the Sixth Precinct's parking lot on Warwick Street on the city's west side , Fox 2 reports.

No police radios were touched. Authorities believe the vandals were looking for guns in the trunks of the cars.

Fox 2's Maurielle Lue reports that the suspects cut a hole in the fence around the precinct.

Police are reviewing surveillance videos from their lot and neighboring businesses, Fox 2 reported. -- Allan Lengel
